The Tempest 20 Year Tasmanian Single Malt

A limited 20-year Tasmanian single malt, made with Hellyers Road Distillery. It spent 17 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then 3 more in port casks. The palate brings strawberry muffin, ginger scone, black licorice and stewed apricot. The finish runs long with oak, soft spice and orange marmalade. Rare Hare 7 Year Bourbon, French Oak Stave Finish

A blend of 55% Kentucky straight bourbon and 45% bourbon mash whiskey, aged in charred American oak. It’s finished with toasted French oak staves for added spice and polish. The nose has soft vanilla and toffee. The palate shows sarsaparilla and sandalwood, building to pink peppercorn. The finish is crisp, with toasty oak. It’s bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), 700 mL, and is best neat, on the rocks, or in a premium cocktail.

Twenty years in the making.

Seventeen years in bourbon casks, followed by three years in port casks. The Tempest brings together bright citrus, dried fruit, and warm toffee in a single malt shaped by Tasmania's distinctive island climate.

Nose

Freshly baked biscotti and butter snaps, followed by vanilla nougat, elderflower, and bright citrus marmalade zest.

Palate

Velvety ginger and stewed apricots meet bright orange citrus, rich sultanas, and plump grapes.

Finish

Warm, lingering, and toffee-forward, with smooth, harmonious depth.

RARE HARE 7-YEAR BLENDED BOURBON WHISKEY

American confidence. French precision.

A blend of 7-year Kentucky straight bourbon and 7+ year American whiskey meets toasted French oak staves from Tonnellerie Radoux. The boisé process draws out nuanced flavor while preserving the spirit's bold character.

Nose

Soft vanilla and rich toffee, layered over earthy sarsaparilla and fragrant sandalwood, with a lively spark of pink peppercorn.

Palate

Caramel and oak build the foundation. Vibrant stone fruit and roasted malt emerge, followed by warming spice.

Finish

Crisp and velvety. Lingering vanilla and oak fade into smooth cinnamon and toasted nuts.
